| Abstract | O sensoriamento remoto termal tem sido utilizado em diversos estudos urbanos pela possibilidade de espacialização de dados de temperatura e de emissividade e de sua associação com o uso do espaço urbano. O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver uma metodologia de conversão de Números Digitais (ND´s) de imagens do infravermelho termal (TIR) do sensor HSS (Hyperspectral Scanner System) em grandeza física (radiância). Além disto, foi feita a correção atmosférica da imagem em radiância usando o modelo de correção MODTRAN, visando estimar a temperatura da superfície e a emissividade espectral relativa com três métodos: Canal de Referência (REF), Normalização da Emissividade (NOR) e Emissividade ALPHA. Os resultados destes métodos foram comparados entre si, mostrando que a emissividade espectral dos principais materiais presentes na área de estudo foi consistente. Já para as temperaturas termodinâmicas destes mesmos materiais, determinadas com os métodos NOR e REF, verificou-se que houve diferença nos valores calculados de 1,2°C a mais para o REF, para todos os materiais estudados. ABSTRACT The thermal remote sensing has been applied in many urban studies due to the possibility of estimating temperature and emissivity data on a per-pixel basis and of associating these data with the use of urban space. The objective here was to propose a methodology to convert Digital Numbers (DNs) of the HSS (Hyperspectral Scanner System) sensor Thermal Infrared (TIR) images into radiance values. Furthermore, the resultant radiance images were corrected for the atmospheric effects using the MODTRAN atmospheric correction code before estimating the surface temperature and the relative spectral emissivity using three methods: the Reference Channel (REF), the Emissivity Normalization (NOR) and the ALPHA Emissivity. The results of these methods were compared to each other showing that the emissivity of the main 488 Revista Brasileira de Cartografia, N0 64/4, p. 487-502, 2012 materials of the study area was consistent. However, for the temperature analysis, the same materials presented a difference of 1.2°C, which was higher for REF than NOR. |
