ABSTRACT: The present work uses the unidimensional model Integrated Land Model (INLAND) to simulate the flow of latent and sensible heat and moisture fluxes in the Tapajós National Forest (Santarém/Pará) between the years 2002 and 2004. In general, the model was capable of representing the seasonality of these variables despite the values were underestimated when compared with studies using observed data to the same location of study, for example, the latent heat flux was 37% lower in the rainy season and 67% lower in the dry season.
