| Abstract | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise temporal da vulnerabilidade da região litorânea que compreende os municípios de Caraguatatuba e São Sebastião, baseada na metodologia de operacionalização do conceito de Vulnerabilidade Socioecológica apresentada por Anazawa et al. (2012). A abordagem metodológica adotada atualiza e estende a caracteriza- ção de perfis de ativos de famílias ou grupos populacionais, para acomodar dimensões inerentes aos territórios em que estes vivem. Desta forma, torna-se possível observar e medir diferenciais intra-urbanos para a vulnerabilidade. Analisando as superfícies de vulnerabilidade socioecológica, a partir da construção do índice sintético IVSE (Índice de Vulnerabilidade Socioecológica) e seus componentes para os anos de 1991 e 2000, foi possível observar a heterogeneidade das condi- ções de vulnerabilidade nas distintas regiões dos municípios. This paper presents a temporal analysis of the vulnerability of the coastal region comprising the municipalities of São Sebastião and Caraguatatuba, based on the methodology to operationalize the concept of socio-ecological vulnerability proposed by Anazawa et al. (2012). The chosen methodological approach updates and extends the characterization of families or population groups assets profiles, to accommodate dimensions inherent to the territories where they live. Thus, it becomes possible to observe and measure intra-urban differentials for the vulnerability. Analyzing the surfaces of socio-ecological vulnerability, which spatially represent the synthetic index SEVI (Socio-Ecological Vulnerability Index) and its components for the years 1991 and 2000, it was possible to observe the heterogeneity of the conditions of vulnerability in different areas of the municipalities. |
