Results show that the carboxyl (carboxylic acid)/carboxylate functional groups directly attached on VACNT tips after oxygen plasma treatment were essential for the acceleration of the OH− formation and the deposition of plate-like HA crystals. FEG-SEM, EDX and XRD showed that a homogeneous highly crystalline HA film, stoichiometric and with preferential growth in the (002) plane direction, was formed. %8 Dec. %N 4-6 %T Proposed model for growth preference of plate-like nanohydroxyapatite crystals on superhydrophilic vertically aligned carbon nanotubes by electrodeposition %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress sandra@las.inpe.br %@secondarytype PRE PI %K Carbon nanotubes, Electrodeposition, Hydroxyapatite, Plasma etching, Plate-like crystals, Superhydrophilic, Vertically aligned. %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup lattes %@usergroup secretaria.cpa@dir.inpe.br %@usergroup tereza@sid.inpe.br %@group %@group %@group %@group LAS-CTE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group LAS-CTE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group LAS-CTE-INPE-MCT-BR %@e-mailaddress sandra@las.inpe.br %3 lobo 4.pdf %@secondarymark B1_ASTRONOMIA_/_FÍSICA B1_ENGENHARIAS_IV B3_MATEMÁTICA_/_PROBABILIDADE_E_ESTATÍSTICA B1_QUÍMICA %F lattes: 7894923534738761 4 LoboMaReRaMaCo:2011:PrMoFo %@issn 1432-881X %2 dpi.inpe.br/plutao/2011/09.22.16.55.18 %@affiliation Laboratorio de Nanotecnologia Biomedica (NanoBio), Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (UniVaP), Avenida Shishima Hifumi 2911, Urbanova, São José dos Campos, SP 12244-000, Brazil %@affiliation Laboratorio de Nanotecnologia Biomedica (NanoBio), Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (UniVaP), Avenida Shishima Hifumi 2911, Urbanova, São José dos Campos, SP 12244-000, Brazil %@affiliation Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), Praça Marechal Eduardo Gomes 50, Vila das Acácias, São José dos Campos, SP 12228-900, Brazil %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %B Theoretical Chemistry Accounts %@versiontype publisher %P 1071-1082 %4 dpi.inpe.br/plutao/2011/09.22.16.55.17 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2011 %V 130 %@doi 10.1007/s00214-011-0993-x %A Lobo, A.
